DARK GAIA'S PROFILE
Dark Gaia

I develop games and I write. I have a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and journalism. I like writing speculative fiction, horror and literary fiction, sometimes all blended together. You can find elements of my writing in my games, because I consider my games to be stories just that happen to have gameplay.
I post updates on my Facebook and Twitter:

Let's Try with Craze - Season 2
The thing is though... Ether is actually a real substance, so it's not a wierd name. Eth, however, is not.

Take your pick, or if you want, wait until January and try the demo of Undying Eternal when it comes out.

I've changed it a little now. I don't like the gap between the status window and the command window though. I can't expand the command window to meet it though, because the commands themselves don't center so it just adds blank space next to them.
Now, if I knew how to move the command window on Y axis, it would be no problem, because I would just slide it and the gold window down into the middle of the screen. It would look better then, and the gap wouldn't be so much.

thanks rpgmaker . net for providing game hosting for the masses
Sure, such a game looks and probably is terrible. But as WIP said, it costs more than it's worth to flush that sort of stuff out.
In real life, you walk into Game and there's good games on the shelf but there are also a load of crap games as well. You just don't buy the crap ones.
I think most serious users who don't just come here for "lol free game lol" are able to discern between the good and the bad rather easily, via how well the gamepages are presented.

Sure, I'll keep your offer in mind and I'll contact you if I need some scripting done. I can do very rudimentary scripting myself, but things like scene rewrites and major visual overhauls I can't really do at all.
Thanks for making a Mystic Quest script though - I really didn't want to use a side view system for this game but I wanted the characters on screen as well. This was perfect!

I'll probably work it out today - I know how to shorten windows and images, so I suppose it's the same principle.

Thanks for the comments. Of course, this is by no means a final title screen. Just the one I'm using for now.
As for the "Press Enter" text - that's actually a little inside joke on my part. You see, I actually show my games on sites outside of the RM community, and I've had people who are so unfamiliar with RM games, they have no idea what the confirm button is.

I found your script randomly on RMRK and right away I knew I had to use it - I loved Mystic Quest! I might add some proper battlebacks in too and it will look really good.
I had to alter the script a little though - your item menu was showing non battle items in it and the squashed descriptions looked terrible, so I had to rewrite Window_Item. I can send you the rewrite if you want.

Undying Eternal
It draws heavily from the same source material that Craze and Karsu's game did, but I want you all to be aware that the play style and flow of the game is quite different to Visions and Voices. There's less emphasis on solving a mystery in this and more of an emphasis on role playing, and it's decidedly more linear too.
Keep an eye on this, folks - demo soon!

Just what I was thinking myself. I'll get around to that, though I it may take a while since I'm not too confident on reducing the bar sizes and making the three seperate windows.
I think the faces could probably remain the same size, but I could try and shrink the bars to the width of the windows and it should look all right.
